Additionally, the sensor can be mounted in a traditional panel mount configuration, sharing the same 4-hole mounting "footprint" as earlier Proximitor Sensor models. The mounting base for both options ensures electrical isolation, eliminating the need for separate isolator plates.

One of the standout features of the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is its resistance to radio frequency interference (RFI). This improved immunity allows the sensor to be installed in fiberglass housings without experiencing adverse effects from nearby radio frequency signals. The sensor's enhanced RFI/EMI immunity meets European CE mark approval standards, all while avoiding the need for special shielded conduit or metallic housings. This results in reduced installation costs and complexity.

The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor also features SpringLoc terminal strips, which simplify the installation process. These strips require no special tools and facilitate faster, more secure field wiring connections. Unlike traditional screw-type clamping mechanisms, which can loosen over time, the SpringLoc strips provide a more reliable and robust connection.
